DO YOU NEED MONEY?

I am an Ebay vendor and loving it. I got so much stuff to sell out of the basement and I am going nuts trying to take pictures and post the items. Ebay the cyberspace yard sale. I am OPERATING as an individual at the present time.

I went on the site, established an account to buy, bought a used item. I thought, hey, I can do this, too. So, a sales enterprise is born. It was so easy and I know enough about the computer and photo uploads to get started. I will tweak and edit as I go along and learn more about the operation. I see why Ebay is so popular. They charge small fees for listings and other perks, and get small percentage of the selling price of an item, up to a maximum. If it does not sell, no percentage charged. They offer all sorts of help and a program to download for multiple items to list for sale. I do each item separate at this time. I like to control how each looks and don't have time to list all at once. It is not a "true" business for me as yet. It is just one more way the computer and the internet improves my world and maybe adds a little coin in my spending money pocket. There is no age limit to use a computer and the internet which makes an old Southern Belle like me right proud to be here.

As with any transactions on the internet you must watch to be sure you are on the https Ebay site and do not give out any information not absolutely required by Ebay. I refuse to list my banking accounts. I listed one credit card with a small limit on it. I have Paypal as well and rarely use it for anything. I will learn OJT as I progress with this one. If you haven't tried it, at least visit the site and look over the items. You have to beware as a buyer and check the ratings for the seller. I understand it is better managed now as to how it was policed in the past. The video professor offers you a new CD to learn how to buy and sell on Ebay! I am sure I will be checking this site 10 times a day now for the results! Ah, the life of retirement bliss and cash register ringing (I hope).

Remember, bread on the waters.

eBay is fun. To buy or sell off of. I'm sorta "old fashioned" and a few years ago while making Christmas Cookies I was so frustrated that I wanted my Mother's old copper Mirro Cookie Press.

Of course, you can't find one of these at Bed, Bath and Beyond. But I did find an awesome one on eBay. Perfect condition, in the box and cheaper than these ones that clog up and break. I also landed a wonderful broiler pan.

Good luck with your selling!!
