HOLY MACKEREL, ANDY! WHAT A GAME!

The Colts Rule! I was amazed at the match up and holding my breath every time Peyton threw that football in the air. I could have tweaked his nose when he threw that ball near the end zone after they had 29 points. I thought the boy had lost his mind. You keep that ball on the ground, both hands on it, and tucked tight in your breadbasket. I guess someone talked to him about that pass because we did not see anymore of them, just right up the middle of the line of Bears. I was so proud of the way the game went and the fact they won against the weather, loss of player to injury, and dumb calls. Now, friends, that game was worth your money and the acceptance speeches were outstanding.

I liked two of the commercials. The one about the spotted dog was genius and the dog was no dummy. The one with the Snickers bar. I thought it had a hidden agenda and spoke volumes, "Snickers" Bar. It may get a backlash. The Chevy commericals left a lot to be desired in my way of thinking. I love the Go Daddy commercial. I use Go Daddy for all but one of my web sites. They rule and are so economical. The customer service is outstanding. It is so easy to get a web site and free hosting with just a few ads. You can get one with out ads for pennies per day. Okay, so I like theirs the best, except for the fact they were pandering to men and not women. I suppose they think only men have business or fun sites. Almost as bad as the Geico commericals about the cave men. Although, I have known a few of those cave men and cave women in my lifetime! Duh!

The half-time entertainment was just what I said yesterday, half-time with half-timers. Although, Prince singing "Purple Rain" was right on target. I wish he had taken off that bandanna earlier. He looked too much like an Aunt Jemina with it tied in front of his head. The battery packs worked on the electric gadgets. I thought we might see a real light 'em show with all the rain. I liked Prince a little bit back in the 80s and I like him less now. I liked his song, "When Doves Cry" the best. I am a ZZ Top, Dire Straits, White Snake, David Lee Roth, and Dan Seals fan from way back in the day.

All in all, I thought the game, commercials, and tributes to Black History Month were well thought out and gave the "Super Bowl" extravaganza a bit of class. It was a damn good show and viewed by more people than those who watch TV all year. It carried a terrific message to all the world. We got cojones and we got class, most of the time.

I got to sign out and get up off this veranda to take care of some household chores. Life marches, on whether in blazing moments of triumphs, or in mundane tasks of the daily chores. I feel a little better today and I thank you all for the good wishes for my health to improve. Now, if I could figure out how to teach my sweet dog, Rosie, to wash and dry the dishes, I would be a snickering genius myself. No such luck!

Y'all come back to visit me and we will share the veranda and some iced tea or hot coffee. I can pull out the family photo albums and we can laugh about those hairdos and clothes styles from decades in the past. I got a picture of me in in first grade in 1949 you would not believe. My Mom thought she was a hairstylist back then.

Remember, share the love and kindness in your life. A kindness is never wasted.

GA Peach--

We have a dalmatian so we liked that commercial the best. All in all, because of the company and the kids it was a great Super Bowl Sunday.

These are the precious times to remember, drop by drop.

Off to an indoor soccer game--decaf Starbucks in hand!

Oh my, you're alter ego up there made my husband strain his neck to look at my monitor.

Some hot coffee sounds great! I'll be right over. Hehe.
