My Mother's Day Present 2007. Yes, it is mine! That's my story and I am sticking to it! I just let him drive it to chauffeur me around town. I have to use a step ladder to get in the cab. I will be installing step rails or a running board very soon. We got the best deal in town on this truck! We had to go to 3 dealerships and get them trying to outbid each other to get the deal-sweet,sweet! It is really a very nice ride and back support is wonderful. I can sit up high, and actually see over the dashboard. I am so short! The color is red fire/cranberry and it is so cool. My favorite color are red, rose,and pink!
Only thing I have to do, is figure out how to pay the insurance on this new truck compared to my older one, which I sold for a nice price. Anyway, time will tell and we definitely thank the Lord for helping us get the keys to this one. We found most people won't finance vehicles for folks at our ages. I can make the long trip to visit my brother, who has brain cancer, and we can all go to the family reunion in style! I know, worse than a kid, I am what I am as Popeye states!
I know, you can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl! At least, this one has an automatic trans, the last truck was a 4 floor shift. I was a pedal to the metal hot rod granny back then!
More news later, got to take a spin in the new truck, that's if I can get the country boy out of the driver's seat. We, two old folks, are worse than two kids with a new toy!
